Rix Biodiesel....
Rix Biodiesel Limited manufacture, blend and resell Biodiesel, the easiest, cleanest and most efficient transformation of solar energy to produce kinetic energy to power engines. It is a sustainable and renewable product with very positive energy balances. It can be manufactured from used cooking oils (UCO) and therefore offers an alternative use for these products once impending legislation regarding the use of UCO in animal feeds is introduced in 2004. It is safely biodegradable and non-toxic. Bio Diesel can be used in pure form or in a blend with fossil diesel, the latter without modification, in all modern diesel engines.
Benefits
can be used as a direct replacement for mineral diesels and is an
environmentally friendly diesel fuel which can power existing diesel engines
used in cars, vans, buses and lorries already on the road today.
The fuel can be used by itself as 100% biodiesel or in a mixture as a 95%
mineral diesel, 5% biodiesel blend that is the fuel type which is already on
sale at over a hundred Rix Forecourt sites. This mixed blend is most favourable to
vehicle manufacturers and technicians as it provides the fuel with extra
qualities that enhance lubrication, boosting fuel economy in the process.
How it is used
The situations in which biodiesel can be used are wide and diverse range
from large fleets of vehicles such as council vehicles, police cars, fire
service appliances, haulage and bus companies to name but a few.
Its application off road in 4 x 4 vehicles will also be of great value in
areas of environmental sensitivity thanks to its low exhaust gas emissions.
Consumers are also able to use biodiesel and as more forecourt site stock
the fuel a greater number of people will be able to enjoy the benefits of
this new fuel.
